Camping “Au clos de la chaume

We decided to leave not far from our home, in the Vosges, for a weekend. This time we went to Corcieux, Lorraine, to the campsite Au clos de clos la chaume***.

It is located at the edge of the neuné creek, at the entrance to the village of Corcieux. It is on the edge of a wooded area, and one of the main roads (but not very busy) and about 10 minute walk from the center of the village and its bakeries (small advice of the gourmet, go to the bakery “Blaise”). The town and Lake Gerardmer are about 15 minutes from the campsite.

The campsite is open from mid-April to the end of September. It has flat pitches (sun, shaded and semi-shaded), as well as mobile homes.

Budget during our stay: count 41 euros per day, to 5 people (3 adults, 2 children) and 2 dogs, including electricity, in the off-season, with the ACSI card.

The welcome: we were very well received, as we were out of season, we had the opportunity to choose our location, while receiving the advice of the manager, regarding our stay (and the guidelines due to health requirements)

Sanitary: The toilets were clean and well maintained. Small downside (may be due to the fact that we were out of season and there were -very few people), they were mixed.

Dish trays: clean, sheltered, located outside

The pitches: They are flat, there are for all tastes (shaded to full sun), bounded by small hedges in the near part of the reception, with a delimitation “a little less clear” in the rear part.

The location: located in peace, despite the fact that one of the main roads of Corcieux passes by (but as said it is not extremely busy).

The infrastructuring:

  • indoor and heated pool
  • small playground
  • volleyball court
  • ping-pong tables
  • games room
  • picnic tables
  • small shop at the reception
  • quiet corner (with a small pond)
  • “Barefoot” path

Visits to the surrounding area:
